I've been a regular at Meat Locker in Thousand Oaks for quite some time now, and for good reason! Their incredible selection of BBQ keeps me coming back for more. Every visit is a delightful experience, with mouth-watering flavors and perfectly cooked meats that never disappoint. Whether you're craving ribs, brisket, or pulled pork, this is the place to be. The atmosphere is welcoming, the staff is friendly, and the quality of the food is consistently top-notch. If you're in the mood for BBQ, look no further than Meat Locker. They truly are the best in town! Side note: I strongly recommend their 3 beef ribs combo, truly one of my favorites and to go for a lot

Food is good and tender. Service was helpful for a first timer. And it feels like a western vibe. The pull pork sandwich was great t with the jalapeño bbq

This is the absolute BEST bbq in town! Hands down! My family always leave full & happy! I always look forward to the tri tip or pulled pork sandwiches. Love the bbq beans & potato salad. I honestly don't care what their place looks like inside or out- or if they cook their meat in the back alley or on their roof (lol)- it's always super tasty & delicious! The service is great! Such nice guys! And the prices are affordable especially with all the sides. I actually like that this bbq establishment feels like a hidden gem because that's exactly what it is..a hidden gem! Is it fancy? No. Is the food good? Absolutely!! Does it seem clean? Yes! It's an old building. Who cares! Just get in there, order your food, appreciate the service and the affordable prices and start licking your fingers because it's that good!!

The food here is absolutely amazing. I love getting their pulled pork sandwich with sides of potato salad and coleslaw, and it just tastes so homemade and great for perfect BBQ food. The workers are very nice and helpful, and I've gone there a few times and they remember me and greet me. Definitely one of my favorite places to eat in Thousand Oaks.

Can't go wrong with the beef ribs, best I've had. Rich, tender and perfectly seasoned.

5 stars!!! I will be back!! I don't live in the area, but I definitely plan to stop here again when I'm back. The meat is the best cooked and quality I've ever had, comparing from many places coast to coast. The setting might seem a bit intimidating, but don't let that fool you. It's WAY worth it! From the beans, to the bread, to the macaroni salad, to the pork ribs, to the tri tip, every single thing was perfect. I highly recommend!!

Coming here for the first time, parking is very limited, and the outside is not most inviting. Give this place a chance and you won't be disappointed. I am a big fan of some SoCal BBQ, but I have always hated the texture of big slabs of chicken and trip-tip meat. I went on a limb and ordered the chicken sandwich. To my surprise, it was thin sliced and made right in front of me. The service was quick and smooth. It made for the best bbq chicken sandwich I have ever had. The beans, bread, and bbq sauce were also amazing and made for a perfect lunch stop. Personally, the potato salad wasn't as good as I had hoped, but everything else made up for it. I will be frequenting this place as often as possible, hoping to try even more items on the menu.

Great tri tip sandwiches , habanero bbq sauce hit the spot !! It's fast easy and so good !!
